Spherical Search is partnering with a global leader in pharmaceutical glass packaging to hire a West Coast Sales Manager. This role will drive commercial growth across the Western U.S., supporting a portfolio that includes glass packaging solutions for syringes, ampoules, vials, cartridges, and related pharma applications.
This is a remote position with regular travel throughout the West Coast territory to develop strategic customer relationships and expand market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business development and revenue growth across the West Coast region
- Manage and expand relationships with pharmaceutical, biotech, and CDMO customers
- Promote a portfolio of pharmaceutical glass packaging solutions
- Identify and convert new opportunities while supporting cross-selling within existing accounts
- Partner with global teams across sales, technical, quality, and operations
- Provide technical and commercial guidance aligned with customer manufacturing and drug development needs
- Represent the company at industry events and customer meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, technical, or business-related field preferred
- 3+ years of B2B sales or business development experience
- Experience in pharmaceutical packaging, medical devices, or life sciences strongly preferred
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage a regional territory
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to travel up to 40-50% within the West Coast
